Hi, here where I work I'm incharge of the phone system and lately when you call out to a phone it doesn't show the actual number your calling from it just shows the generic number for the buisness. Has anyone else had this problem with a eOn Millennium system?

What type of lines do you have going into your Millenium?

We use both analog and the 4 line digital (that I hate lol). I also have a computer in my office loaded with the software and the modem connection to the system. I know how to run lines, setup phones, change locations, all the physical stuff. I just really don't know anything about the program it self besides basic phone setup.

Those are the sets in your system not the lines. Without a digital delivered PRI and appropriate software you're not going to be able to do that.

Oh sorry I'm not to familar with telephony I was just kinda put in charge of our phone system and have learned all I can on the job.I know ours system has digital T1 lines. Also the system did it before but some how it stopped a few weeks ago. So I know it's capable of doing it I just can't figure out why it stopped.

Assuming you have PRI...
Outbound caller ID is controlled by a translate table that does the extension number to outbound caller ID translation. Which translate table and whether or not calling party digits are included in the call setup is defined in the trunk profile.
If you're not well versed in the programming of this switch, best to have a qualified tech help you.
I could help you if you have a modem on the system (for a fee). But you may want to check with your carrier first (they may be ignoring the calling party digits).
The ability to define your CallerID is sometimes considered an optional feature that some Telcos charge extra for.

ATeaM, Did your company by any chance change outside line provider? Go from SWB to "SuperDeal Telco"? (SuperDeal Telco is my generic term for anyone besides the original phone company for your area.) I used to work out of Salina and did some work in Pratt. Is that south of Hays? John C. (Not Garand)

Turns out it's something on SWB side. One of my bosses was in contact with them to setup the 911 service and didn't bother to tell anybody.
We also are having a couple other weird issues. dwflood, how much would you charge if you could help with this?
And yes we are about 2 hours south, south east of Hays.
