Problem is that the lines(loop start on a cotc card) will just go down from time to time. Couple times a day They will just go dead, disconnection a call if one is active. Rebooting the system will orrect the problem. I have already swapped out the CO card and put the new one in a new slot and that has not changed anything. My next guess would be the cpu card but don't want to purchace one an have that not be the problem.

try setting the CO discoonect timer to be either a 0(off) or something higher then what you have it at. This will tell you if it is carrier related if it still disconnects.

OR there was a version of the 48/96 software that had CO issues that could only be cleared by a reboot. Version 6.003 maybe???

I had this same problem a few years back with the WIN systems, could've been the Ver. 6..

Only thing that would fix the problem was a reboot, or pulling the bridge clips on the D-mark for that particular line that was dead.
