8030, in particular.
I'm looking at these for my IT department, who have to cover 4 buildings on 2 campuses.
I gather they're fairly rugged, but what I'm most interested in is: do I need their server to run them? Or are their interfaces documented well enough that I can hook them to my Asterisk PBX directly?
And what about SRP?

If it can be done (via SIP), it's possible you'll find info on how to do it on Polycom's website. Their documentation is pretty wide-open. However, the only way I've used them is through the Netlink Gateway (no SVP server, currently). I know that the Nortel-branded 8030 can interface directly to the Signalling Server in the Nortel, so going without the Gateway is not unheard of. However, I've only heard brief mentions of using them with SIP integration from our Polycom rep.
