I am working with a Link 150 M3 system with 2 MCU's tied together

On the face of each unit there are 16 line positions and every piece of documentation I have read says I should be able to have 16 hansets per unit with 8 conversations maximum at the same time.
I can't register any hadsets to positions 9 to 16 on any unit.
Am I missing anything here????

Yup - 8 ports each! No, seriously, each MCU can accept up to 16 extension ports. The first port of each is normally used as access to the internal modem for Spectralink factory tech access. It sounds like these were bought as 8 port base units; look at the part number on each: does it say SCU508 or SCU516? (The may be SCA, U, F, X, etc depending upon PBX model integration.) If it's an 8, that's all you get. If you have 16's, call Spectralink and inquire: 800-775-5330. They're good folks and will talk to you without charge.

If no one here is able to answer, call Polycom, they service the Spectralink brand now.
