Hi. I do have several questions/problems about our BizPhone 680 systems:
We do have a BizTouch3 phone at the front desk and want to attach a cordless phone to it, so it rings at the same time and can be used as an additional phone to it without an intereference with the BizTouch3
2. When calls are not being answered, after a couple of minutes the same number calls again, but if one answeres the phone, there is nobody on the other end. we tried that already with a cell phone and even though that person is not calling again, the phone would ring again, as if the person would call again.
3. We disconnected one BizTouch2 in order to connect one of the cordless phones we bought. After we connected it again, because the cordless would not work as we thought, it is not working anymore either. It is not the phone, but something with the telephone system, I guess. It does not get a free tone, when we pick up the handset.
Any ideas on these issues? THANKS

Sounds like you need to place a service call. For question 3 I would try re-setting the extension. Caution, this will re-set everything including the password, mailbox recordings and messages.
1. Leave receiver down and press SETTINGS. 2. Dial extension 200 to access General Settings. 3. Enter the system password, if required, then press #. 4. Press 1 to hear the Manage Extensions menu. 5. Press 2 to reset the extension. 6. Enter the number of the extension.

also question 3 you have to change your phone type back to whatever type you're putting on it.
question 2 sounds like something is putting the CO line on phone company hold.
