Howdy Gang-

I have a Siemens Hipath 3750, and I'm looking to set up silent monitoring- I have gone into Station View, and selected the check mark on the users profile for silent Monitor- but when I try to silent monitor the phone, says- Currently Not Possible-

I'm sure there is a step I'm missing or check mark that I'm overlooking-

Any help would be appreciated.

You also have to have "Override class of service on" checked.

Do I need that checked for the monitoree as well as the monitored?

Only the persons station who will be doing the monitoring

Still does not work for me. I have checked out the "silent moonitoring" and "override class of service". There is still something missing...because i get the notice:Currently Not Possible

Are you using the menu of the phone to do the monitoring? If so it won't work. You have to dial the code *944 + extension number. Also, you can't monitor if the station you want to monitor has put the call on hold. In addition, this will only work for certain countries. What release is your system?

i am sorry,
i thought room monitor not silent monitoring. i dont know what to do to add the flag in the stationView - activated flags - room monitor. I try with the code *88 but the acces denied error shows up on my phone display.
