I am having trouble getting binary backup to work. I tried different cables, baud rates, and the message says "check password or connections" What password is that referring to?

Log in using a term program. Do not log out just close the term program..then do your binary.

EXCELLENT!! Thank you so much. Doing the backup now. I am trying to learn this system on my own. I feel like I have learned a lot about it, but little things like this can slow you down.

Glad to help but 2 things:
1. There is a Tadiran section on the board.
2. Best to go to school after you tinker. For those that have never worked with a system that uses sequential database schemes you can REALLY mess up an installation. There are SO many things not in the book that anyone that isn't certified doesn't touch one of my switches.

Didn't know about the Tadiran section, thanks. I have a question about LCR, but I will post it there.
I would like to go to school on the system, I may suggest it to my employer later.
