I have a problem on a NEC2400 where after a call is answered and then transferred to a station it will now forward to Voice Mail.
Example. Call from outside to station A.
Station A answers and tranfers to Station B. Station B will ring forever without forwarding to Voice Mail. If i call station B from outside it goes to Voice Mail if no answer ok. Or if i call Station B from Station A internally it will go to voice mail ok. I tried this on 2 different systems with the same problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

Have tried ASYD bit that affects the maximum number of forwards in the system. The max is 5.

SYS 1 INDEX 5 BITS 1,2, AND 3 AND SET IT FOR THE MAX OF FIVE TIMES.

And still no luck...

I will ask your question @ the NEC forum & see if someone can help. I'm limited in my 2400 knowledge.

I think I found it under Blind transfer to Station.
ASYD - System 1, Index 69, Bit 0
and
ASFC
SFI 103 - 0 uses Index 140 for the timer
and 1 uses Index 247 for the timer
SFI 104 - 0/1 - Teh transfer destination station is continuously rung/C.F. Don't Answer is executed if it is set at the transfer destination station.

Just got to test this out now - but it looks like this should fix it.
Thanks for all the help.
