The NEC 1000 and 2000 are very well priced and almost program themselves.

I also like the NEC DS1000/2000. Works great for many differant applications. I've been selling them since they were Nitsuko, and I can say they have improved a lot the last 2 years. I beleive this system will be around for a while. If I were to choose among the 3 for easiest to install, program, and use it would be first NEC, second Panasonic, last Comdial. Like DTMF said they almost program themselve. The Intramail you just plug it up and you can record the greetings and you have voicemail by default. They are very easy to program and use. For the last 4 months I've been using a feild trail version of the DS system admin software to do local or remote programming through a GUI window for the DS1000/2000. Very nice , it will be avaliable off there website soon! As far as features you should be able to do anything on the ds that you could on panasonic or comdial mentioned.

I'm not sure of the question? Intramail comes in two models 4 or 8 ports. Intramail installs on the processor of either ds1000 or ds2000 systems. Only one intramail card can be installed per system if thats what you meant! Later when ultramail releases you will be able to have intramail and ultramail installed in the same system! That only applies to the ds2000's.
