you'll need to know what port the phones are that need the headset (go to the phones if they have a display hit feature 4. that will tell you the port number and the ext).
on port 1 or 2 (usually 100 & 101).
hit feature hold #0*
hit line #4 or if it's not line 4 the 4th button across (clear buttons not the black under the display).
then type in 12
display should say 01/12 something
the * moves the cursor to the left. the # moves it to the right.
move the cursor all the way to the left under the 0 in 01. type in the port you need to program. hit transfer to scroll thru the buttons to get to the button you want to program. after you get to the button you need to program start hitting the clear buttons. you're looking for it to say h-set (it's like button 10 or 11. if you have a 8 button phone you're programming from hit the recall key to move to the next set of buttons) after it says h-set hit transfer (to write). then move the cursor to the left again and type in the next port to program. then do the same. be sure to hit transfer to write. then answer, answer, speaker to get out of programming. simple!

what are you trying to do with the call forwarding? phantom exts are possible (called car keys on the nec). and can be call forwarded off premise if needed. let me know
