SMDR is usually generated by a AP00 card or you can use one of the 2 serial ports on the MP, but those are normally is use already(internal modem & MAT connection). You can program through the phone, that is my preferred method.

It really won't generate reports, it will only print raw smdr data. Are you getting anything to print at all? What are you using to collect the data?

There isn't any command to print. The system just prints raw smdr data on the fly.

You should be sending the data out from the AP00 via cable to a printer in which case it would print every call out or you should be sending it out to a PC with collecting software such as "Callwhere for Windows" or "Tappit" or maybe even a Summa4 which is a call accounting device that actually costs the call. These external devices are what generates the reports.

Testing is usually done by connecting a laptop (or PC) running a terminal emulator such as Hyperterm or Procomm to the proper port on the AP00B or the MP card. This is to verify that you are getting "clean" records *before* connecting to the computer running the call accounting software.
