I got my invite last night. It is out....
Pretty neat.
If you think about it, this could change the residential telecom market.
I can now get a Google Voice number, and that can be my home number, linked to my cell as well as my wife's....for the rest of our lives, wherever we move, etc....

Cellular replacement... And cable voice providers have already changed the industry on this side of the demarc and is being “thought about†long and hard.  ... Yes. I have it and use it. I been using it since it was Grand Central. I use it for misc phone calls for craigslist or ebay transactions. The voicemail feature does speech to text transcription. The vm audio call be sent to email with the transcription. If the caller leaves a clear vm, you will get a a text backup of the vm. It has a lot of features if you take the time out to figure them all out.
