how would i go about programming DID on my switch...i called NEC up and they wont be out here for days...and this thing was supposed to working last thursday. Verizon is killing, cause we had some lines ported from a POTS to DID and out of the 2 numbers one is workin on the switch, which they dont know why. but im trying to program a ips 2000. which i have never done b4 and if we dont get this number up and running soon we will lose a lot of business.

What part of the programming has you stumped?
If one of the lines the ported over works ok, then I would point the non-working number to the same DID.

We're actually having similar problems. Verizon promised to port over a few lines and two of the last lines in the list were never ported completely.

I would verify that the lines were ported and all the associated work was done. Ask for dates that the work was done on. That's how we got to the bottom of our problem of a couple of numbers not reaching us.
