We just installed an Electra IPK in one of our offices. We are trying to set up an IP trunk between that system and another (Non-NEC) system in another state.
Situation: From remote location I dial access code (8 0)which connects me to the local IP trunk, and then to the NEC. From there I can dial an extension on the NEC, or dial 9 and make an outside call.
Problem: When I make the call, the called phone rings, and when answered they hear nothing. On my end I still hear ringing.
The same thing happens in the other direction. (NEC to Altigen)
Any ideas would be helpful. If you need to know any of the setup, I can post that.

I would say it sounds like you need to open up some ports on the firewall, which ones I'm not sure, but I can look.
