I am looking at buying a new system for my office and have currently received bids for the NEC IPK and the Inter-Tel Axxess. They appear to be almost indentical with a couple minor differences. The Axxess in-skin VM seems to be far superior. They offer 300+ hrs. of storage versus the VMP max 25hr. Our company likes to record alot of phone calls so I feel I will need as much storage as possible. One feature I like about the IPK is Whisper Page. The Axxess can do it with optional equipment which of course is more money. Question is, are there any features that conflict with the use of Whisper Page like call forwarding on busy, ring no answer or all modes? Question 2, can I undelete a message from the VMP? Does anybody have any good or bad comments about either system in general? Would appreciate any help in making this decision.

The VMP uses a flash drive for storage. There is also a hard drive version that has 200 hrs of storage. I would splurge & go for the CTI(add $1500) version & get your voice mails & faxes(add $1000) to appear in outlook like an email. Whisper back is great, the only drawback for some users I find, is that when you call a station internally & it is offhook, you get a busy signal, then to go to the mailbox you press 7, whisper back 6, plus others. This confuses new uses in large applications.
