Does anyone know what causes a brand new Toshiba laptop to lock up when I try to make a interface connection thru a serial to usb connection. It has Windows XP SP2

1. Make sure you log in on the right version of software.
2. Goto your settings at the top and make sure you have your serial to usb on the right com port.
3. Reinstall your software fo serial to usb.
I have the same setup and It works fine.
