Hi guys,

Got some clarification from the vendor today on the voicemail. He did confirm that it is the digital model available from Vangard. Asked directly about the delay factor when using an external voice mail he said that he did not believe that it is an issue. He has confirmed that it is an analog unit.

I have been contacted by two different vendors through this message board. I saw one on Monday and I am seeing the other one today. Neither is a Tadiran dealer but I have also contacted Tadiran directly to put me in touch with a local dealer of their product.

Thanks again for all your help! I will keep posting throughout the process but will probably shift to the other thread in the general area. No reason to keep two threads running!

[Edit]
Woops. Actually, the first paragraph is right he said it was a digital VMS and then emailed that it was analog. Thought I straightened that out. To be clear, you have to use an analog unit to have centralized VM on the Aspire.

we are a small enterprise looking for a phone system- 6 lines/ 8 extensions and growing to 12 extensions within a year. No VOIP please. NEC Aspire S and Vodavi STS and Norstar ICS proposed so far. Vodavi more expensive, but seller offered much longer warranty. I liked the Aspire. Any opinions or things to keep in mind?

Did this include voicemail? You might want to look at a full size Aspire and compare the cost. Also, another cool system to check out that is really decent and inexpensive is the Sprint K3.

The aspire s to the apsire price wise is only about but if you do not seeing your self growing beyond the 8 trunks and 16 digital stations I would stick with the aspire S unless you really want a fance and elaborate V-mail setup
