Is it possible to add a voicemail button with a different mailbox number than the extension to a digital phone on a NEAX 2000?

Yes, I do this all the time. There are a couple of 08 commands that deal with calling voice mail from a sub line. Those must be set correctly, & then depending in your software, the button will flash to indicate a message.
