I've got to visit a customer monday that has DS2000 with Intramail. They want the receptionist to overflow to voicemail if she doesn't answer within 6 rings. I was just reading through the docs - please confirm if I am reading this correctly:
program 1003 - change Ring Destination(Day) to Extension/700 and turn on "Activate Overflow Day"
or do I change program 1807 Hunting to "Trunk RNA" with a destination of 700?

Thanks

Which phones are initially going to ring? If its just the receptionist phone then you need to set the 'day term' to the receptionists extension. Day Overflow should be set to yes. And the DayOverflow Destination should be 700. All is done in program 1003

If you set the day term to x300 and overflow to 700 your going to get mailbox 300, Right? Because that is a DIL. What I usually do in this scenario Is leave it at key ring and overflow to 700. 1805 to stop ringing at other phones. may adjust your trunk revert timer in 0401 default is 15 seconds That is about 5 rings.

Good Call Clgjr! You're exactly right. I don't know why I was thinking it would go to a personal mailbox.
