Was wondering if anyone knows how to assign stations the ability to dial out on particular trunks.

I have two companies using the same phone system, and need to split the trunks for caller id purposes.

I know the system can do it, I think it has something to do with the tenant groups, but when I try to add a new tenant group it says "data cannot be used"

TIA Tom

Which 2400 system do you have?

To turn on tenant service you’ll need to change some things in ASYD There are different tables you can split the tenant’s on.

If all you want is to make one group of users use a different trunk group. I would use ARSC and make restrict one group from using the other group’s trunks.

It is a 2400 ics older model, I went with the second option of just restricting trunk groups.

Now I am looking to change the direction on one 16cot card or one trunk group, any suggestions.

You still should be able to use ARSC RRI 0 AND 1 restrict calls on the incoming side
0 for calls to the attn.
1 for station
