I have run into this situation before. Problem is when you use call foward off-premise feature, it happens immediately when a call comes in to an ext. You could put a call forward off premise button on the phone so that the user will press it when they are not able to take calls. Or you could setup a next call routing mailbox for that particular extension and assign a dat table for external transfer. But you would need to include in their greeting about the option. If NEC would add a timer on a per station basis for the call forward off premise, all would be fine. Maybe in a couple s/w releases!
One more thing if you had a spare phone you could foward one after 3 rings to the next ext that would be call forward off premise. Just some thoughts.
