Hi,
I'm new here and I know very little about telephone systems. I've used 2 or three Norstar systems before and now my father started his own business and got a NEC system that came with the place he rents (he bought it with some other computer equipment). We have 3 telephones and that large box in the equipment room.
I think it is a voice over IP system, but I'm not sure. Is there any place I could find technical documentation to get the system working? NEC's website seem to ask for a password to access it...
Thank you!

It's alright, I have the doc already. But I'm wondering what to do exactly...

I am at a new company that has had a NEC Electra Elite IPK system. I was wondering anyone has some cribsheets or administrator instructions for this phone system.
Specifically, I am wondering how to change the ring on each phone (we all work in one open office) so that we can tell who's line is ringing. Would someone have to plug a laptop into the system to change ring pattern?
Thanks in advance.
