I tried to program a mailbox with the same number as an existing extension. I recorded a message on that extension by (from another station) dialed x10f (the station) until it rang to VM. I then checked the VM by dialing x190 (VM Port), *, and then the extension and the password. The message was there. I retrieved it and deleted it, but the stations VM light (which was previously on see https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/Forum14/HTML/000703.html) did not go off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you will have to set up some intergration with mem. block 1-1-47,48. Set up access codes with the correct dial string. Also check the Amandas settings (in set-up) set notify port for the last port (4 or 8?) then leave a message and monitor the port w/you're butt set. by the way I e-mailed the manual but it got kicked back to me 3 days later. I assume its a workplace v-mail?

Why would I need to do a 1-1-47/48? To make it easier to dial VM?

I know someone mentioned doing this to program codes to turn off and on VM lights. I must assume the Amanda system was doing this before. However, I can't find the Amanda set where you can configure the dial code strings to turn off and on VM to verify this.

Anyone know a link to the Amanda DOS System Manual? Not sure the version, I do know it runs on DOS.
