you could also need to check Cmd 850. It depends on at what point you are getting restricted. You could find that the maximum number of digits is wrong.

Failing that it might be a carrier problem.

R4+Z,

Do they program it differently down under? Just curious. Normally up here IVS LCR would go

8A405>5 >000
8A405>60>000
8A405>61>000
...
8A405>69>000
8A405>7>000

I was just curious if it was just a question of shorthand notation, or a question of different commands altogether.

BComm: Make sure that you set the same route pattern as second data in 8A405>1866 as you set in 8A405>1888. Those should both point the call to your local route.

Yes we do it the same I was just a little lazy in the way I typed it.

I should also have mentioned that 1201 won't be the answer as if you can dial 1888 and 1800 then if you set 1866 to the same in Cmd 8A4xx, you effectively put it in the same class as the others and you should be able to dial it. The only other restriction cmd where the number dialled is the deciding factor is cmd 85Y (probably 850). So failing a difference here it would have to be a carrier related problem.

There is of course one much more complicated answer and that is the system is tennanted with different number plans and we are changing the wrong numbering scheme for this particular phone. Check what tennant the phone is in in Cmd 1204 then go to Cmd 29 and see which numbering plan is assigned to that tennant. you can then follow it from Cmd 20Y to LCR and may find a completely different pattern that needs to be changed.

Thanks for the answer, R4. I was curious because I know that they do things a bit different in some places.
