Hey, we are using the Electra Elite IPK. Twice yesterday and once today, there was a loud crackling noise coming from my phone, I was not on it. Then my phone went dead and then said initialize. Then went completely dead. When this happens it affects six other phones and it's always the same ones. We have about 65 phones but it only affects mine and the other 6 (the same ones all the time). The only way to fix it is to turn off the phone system and turn it back on. Has anyone heard of the before of know what's going on? Maybe a bad board or something?

my guess it that you have a bad (or going bad) "port" card. You might check and see if those 6 phones are on the same card. I have had this issue before and replacing the card fixed it.

like knzphnadm said. check to see if they are all on the same esi card. or esie card.
if so you could try moving it to another slot and programming it up to be sure it's not the slot.
