Ok here's my situation. There are 2 companies sharing a DS2000 phone system with intramail. Each has 3 trunks coming in and wants all their extensions to ring when a call comes in on any of their lines during the day. At night they want the automated attendant to pick up right away. However the 2 companies do not work the same schedule so “night” begins at different times. Is there a way to set a group of trunks to night mode while leaving the others in day mode?

(I already tried setting up UCD groups but that sets the trunks to only ring at a single extension at a time)

Well Ultramail is not going to give you different night modes I’m afraid, Mitch too many corona’s? You can use the acd/ucd groups 701-707 for incoming rings and accomplish this! And even have a night mode for 701-707. You may need to use the call coverage key in addition. I had the exact situation with a client. Easiest thing to do is just tell them that one company can control the night mode and AA will answer immediate when in night mode. The other company will overflow to VM after x amount of rings day or night.

Havent tried yet but it looks as though if operator a has l 1-3 key or dil and does not have l 4-6 ringing then nite 701 would send only those trunks to vm. other lines would have other ext for operator, dif line group and 702 nite button at operator??
Of course, thats assuming that the book is translated right!!!

The only thing about using the call coverage keys is you lose ringing line preference.
