Hi,
I am looking for a way to set up if an in coming CO is not answered it goes to a certain extesions voice mail. I tried DIT but they said that the system only rings on that extention now. Is this true? Is there another way to program this with the phone or is it done throug the voice mail system.
O yea I have an NEC ELite 192.

Thanks in advance.

Try going to MB 3-61 and set a delay timer . This makes the phone ring as a CO call then follow the DIT asignment..

You can also DIT to an SIE that appears on all phones. This would work something like a CAR key.

Looks like the delay timer will be the best choice for this situation because I need to do this on 5 lines so far. My manual doesnt show 3-61 when I get in there how do I set a delay?

Thanks
