Hi guys,

First of all, I have an Elite system with 8 CO (4 w/ CID, 4 without), and 5 extensions using display phones (4 DTerm Display/16 and 1 DTerm Display/24). I'm attempting to go VoIP with the system and integrate it instead of using Vonage for all my remote employees. I'm looking to make them IP extensions off my system.

A few questions..

If I'm to go phones via IP, would it be better for me to ditch the 48 and go IPK?

Are the expansion cards interchangeable between the two systems? Meaning, will my 48 cards work with the IPK?

Unrelated

Where can I obtain the latest copy of the system software/firmware?

For some reason, I cannot program DSS keys on my Display 16, but I can on my display 24s. Is that normal? I can only use the lower right 8 keys. I'm assuming it might have to do with my SW revision.

Right now, I program all via the DTerm, which is confusing and complex. I have an MIFM card, but how do I obtain the programming software?

I have the MIFM card, but would like to add CID scrollback. Anyone know a good source to obtain the activation key/code/chip?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.
Yes.
From NEC's website, www.neccare.com, if you are a dealer.
Yes. Dterm 32s need to be set in software as 24 LK + 8 DSS or 16 LK + 16 DSS. I don't think Dterm 16s support DSS.
From NEC.
From NEC?

Do you need help finding a local NEC dealer?

I'm not a dealer, and I have the expertise to do this myself, I just need some answers. I've seen others with Elite and IPK systems who have DSS/BLF keys on their 16 sets, but apparently mine doesnt support it.

I setup this system and converted from a Panasonic KXT system, but i find this one far less user friendly than those. Just looking for some insight. Thanks.

delending on your software version you can either have 10(or 12) feature access keys or if it is newer 16. feature access keys can be used for alot of things:night mode, music, dss, forwarding, etc.

each feature access key (fa) needs to have it's own number with it (ie fa01, fa02, fa03) etc.

programming is done in 4-12 on a per port basis
