Hi All.
Several months ago we put in our first Elite CTI Voicemail with about 50 clients using Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003. From the outset there were issues with Outlook on some PCs not closing at the end if the day. The user had to slay the Outlook.exe in the task manager. Some PCs were rebult and these were OK after that. The Office 2003 PCs are Ok Most of the other PCs running Outlook 2000 closed after installing SP3 and a hotfix to remove this sort of problem. Howver there were still 3 PCs that we could not fix and the customer would not except that he had to rebuild the PC to get the plug into work and the problem was the Activevoice plugin and if it was disabled then Outlook closes everytime.. The mail was pulled out and a regular mail put in.
What has been the success rate in the US with this product using Outlook Exchange server integration or is it a bit of a dated lemon??

If you are rebuilding the PC's and they work fine, then the problem is probably in the PC not Outlook.
Look in the task manager and see how many processing are running at one time on one of the trouble PC's, if it is over 35, then there is some of the problem. When was the last time the computers were cleaned and defraged? Do they have anti-spyware, anti-adware, and/or anti-virus protection? are they up-to-date on all anti software? Do they regualarly scan the system? What is the Operating system on the PC's? Have you tried doing a detect and repair on outlook?
Sorry for all the questions, but there is a lot to look at in the PC before you can point the finger at the outlook plugin.

Win 2K SP4 and Win XP SP2. It is the Outlook plug in as I can reproduce the problem in my lab. What I want to know is what experience have you guys in the US had with this product?? Or is it not sold any longer??
