i am not very familiar with the ipk and i have 2 questions:
1- i need to program internal paging by using a trunk port and there is a free trunk ( from what i've been told )?
2- how do i program the button to appear on the phone?

why use a trunk? there is a built in page port on the side of the cabinet. on the side are 2 rca jacks. 1 is music on hold input. the other is page output.
only reason i'd use a trunk is if you needed 2 way talk path.
programming is easy. on the phone(s) assign a button as a feature access button (program 4-12, or use a unused feature access button).
go to the phone
press feature
redial
feature access button
1
51 (or 59 to page external & external)

i'm not sure why they wanted to use the co trunk. The rca plugs worked perfect and thanks for the program tips.

no problem.
just a f.y.i... if you need more than 1 external page zone you would get an ecr card. provides up to 3 page zones as well as general purpose relays etc.
