And of course is voice mail needed or will a simple answering machine work just fine? Or what about an answering machine with three or four mail boxes.
It is difficult to tell you a viable answer without knowing the customers needs and expectations.
Along the line of 1-4 line KSU-less systems you might want to look into Panasonic or AT&T...and then if you do need a larger KSU, say 6 lines and 16 telephones..both analog and digital...look into a Panasonic 6x16. You can also buy these on the WEB from different sources.
Here is a page from the Panasonic Help page that might be of programming interest:
https://www.panasonichelp.com/ No, I do not sell Panasonic KSU's, nor do I have a vested interest... but for some customers they have the better bang for the buck.
My suggestion to to get as much DETAIL from your customers "Needs and Expectations" prior to making your own decision as to
what is best for them.If you haven't already, it appears you need more information from your customer.
