Hey Everyone,
I've been learning the Aspire system bit by bit as our reseller won't give me the manual. I need to call forward several lines from one Aspire system to another (in separate buildings). I'm setting virtual extensions to call forward to the 2nd PRI by setting a call forward off-premises. They call transfer alright but they cut off after 3 minutes. Is there another way to forward numbers other than forwarding a virtual extension? Any ideas on a setting that might fix this 3 minute cut-off? Our phone tech has been working on it for some time now and we have to forward some crucial lines coming up in 5 days, I need to sort something out.
Thanks! Adam

hi adam, in 24-06 cmmnds u can set the call forward off-premise feature, which canfwd calls without using an extension, but to a caller the msg will be played before routing, another method is in 22-11-03/04,here u can fwrd the calls to the abbrivated nos directly bypassing the extn(1001 for 1st abb no),no msg will be played,it works superbly. regarding the 3 min call disconnection increase the timer in 25-07 cmmnds, the default trk-trk transfer timer is 180sec,you can make it to 64800secs
