Hi all.
I'm working with an NEC NEAX 2000 IPS and I'm slogging my may thru the management of it. The previous admin left no documentation.
My current challenge is to establish a hotline on an elevator extention. I can assign the line as a hotline in MATworX, but I don't know how to program which extention will ring when the receiver is lifted. I have 7 other hotlines on this campus that work somewhat properly, but this one was never even punched down.
Is there a set of MOC codes that I can enter? Is it done thru some other interface? I've used MOC for DID assignment so I'm somewhat familiar with that interface.
Thanks for helping an NEC neophyte!

Assign the Hot Line to required stations
1203>ext#:04 for Calling Side
Assign the Hot Line pair.
CM52YY
YY=00-99 YY=00 hot line pair 00 YY=00 hot line pair 01 ....................
5200>0:ext# 0 - Calling Side
5200>1:ext# 1 - Called Side

You could always make it a ring down circuit. If the other hotlines are all going to the same place, you can do the following: 1203>ext#>00 ~ 03 5114>00~03>destination of house phone.
Then if you have any other phones that need to ring to the same destination, you can just program 1203>ext#>00 ~ 03 depending on the one you already set up.
