Hello Everyone,

We have a NEC 2000 and one of our extensions is displaying some strange behavior. When someone internally calls her phone the phone rings, but if someone transfers a call to this extension it goes directly to her voice mails.

Thanks.

I had the same problem at a customer site, trouble shot and trouble shot. It turned out,for some reason or another in program 1808 I had turned on auto attendant DND. May want to check it. It gave me a fit! JAYMAN

The user can turn on Autoattendant DND from their mailbox too.

Try Pressind DND then zero

or you may have to do a power cycle to clear it up.

Try cancelling DND at that extension. Speaker # 8 Speaker is default. If you are familiar with programming look at CMD 5110, first data is the tenant number; displayed data/second data is the station that the extensions in that tenant group will forward to under DND condition.

Forgot to ask; how is the tranfer to the extension happening, auto-attendant, or is someone physically aswering the phone and transferring to that extension?

I should have confirmed this to be an issue before posting. I went over to the location and was unable to duplicate the issue. The user says I did something to correct because it never worked until I came over. (lol) Sorry to waste your time.
