First off I am a data guy so please bear with me. We recently had an IPK II system installed. We have a PRI and also a block of DID's. If I try to forward all of my calls to an external number I receive a busy signal when calling my DID instead of forwarding to the external number. However if someone in the office dials my extension it will forward to my external number. The installer of our system thinks this is a bug in the software and expects it to be fixed in the next firmware update. His workaround is to setup virtual extensions and then hardcode an external number with the virtual extension. This does not provide flexibiliy for us because we are stuck being able to only forward to one external number per extension. Does this sound correct to you guys? I have access to the Web Pro interface if you need me to check any settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
