Good Morning,
here is the another milion dollar question. We have Electra Elite 192, works fine most of the time but every once in a while it will go nuts and drive me crazy. It is always a voicemail issue, a simple reboot would work in past. I did maintenance, hard drive check, defrag, and all that. However, this time nothing helps.
We have many phantom voicemails for hourly staff, and usually they check their voicemmail by dialing 301+9+(whatever-their-extension is). Today, that is not possible, it just keeps ringing and never picks up. Other people who have their full working extensions can check their voicemails by using the voicemail button on their phone. However, if they try checking it with 301 using their extensions, it still fails. It is 301 that is causing problem. Any ideas?

You need to forward 301 to the pilot number of voicemail.

From the attendant phone Usually extension 100 or 101
Press Speaker Dial 47 Dial 301 (extension you would like to forward) Dial Voicemail Pilot Number ( number you dial to check your messages) Press Speaker
To cancel Use code 48 instead of 47

Awesome, that fixed the 301 problem. So checking voicemail now works. However, another problem arised, now when call is transfered to someones voicemail, it just keeps ringing and does not pick up. Any ideas on this issue?

Good, that worked for my phone. Is there anyway to do this all in one go for everone because we have 90+ phones. Doing one at the time will take long time. Any ideas?

you could do it from a phone that has a higher class of service instead of going to all the phones.
usually exts 100 & 101 do.
speaker 45 (ext to forward) (vm pilot number) speaker
