We purchased a Bogen TAM-B (Telephone Access Module) for our new paging system. We needed a paging system we could put on an extension. The input of the Bogen is connected to a station port on our NEC switch (NEAX 2000 IVS.) The Bogen output goes to our paging amp and speakers. We are able to dial the 4-digit extension and page with the desired paging message. The problem is that when the person paging finishes and hangs up, the Bogen TAM-B does not hang up and still plays the fast-beep (like busy signal) until the pre-set Maximum Paging Time on Bogen module expires. We called the Bogen support. They said, upon hanging up a call, the NEC switch should send a "CPC (Call Progress Control) signal" to tell the Bogen TAM module to disconnect/finish the paging call. If any one knows the related commands to verify and/or change the settings in the NEC switch (NEAX 2000 IVS) so the call can be disconnected immediately after hang-up, please help. Thanks, Mike

Try command 1322 > paging ext. # > 0
This will send a momentary open for an analog port.
