Looking for input on the Aspire vs. CIX.

I know the Aspire is stronger w/ conferencing, and I think with lit park keys & hotline keys across an IP network (I have been told the CIX cannot light these buttons when IP networked).

Any other areas where I will see significant differences in features or functionality?

My two bits on your question. I have worked on the older DK Toshiba system (424,280,40 and so on.
I have not worked on the newer systems.

On NEC equipment the old Electra 616, 16/48 Mark II, Pro 1, Pro II tne newer systems IPK and IPK II

I pick NEC over Toshiba period.
NEC is a better quality product and their tech support is second to none.

Thats just my opinion.

I too would go with NEC...

When the systems are close, support is everything.

And NEC doesn't require tons of Certifications.

They also have online training available.

My 2 cents,
I am like Dan, However I worked on the Nitsuko/i series/Aspire side of NEC. I have always like the NEC better. However, as far as quality the old Toshibas I think are probally the most reliable system out there. I mean there are a LOT more old Toshibas that are running great and have never had anything but phones replaced than I have seen any other system. Sure I have seen old phone systems out there, but most have undergone some sort of overhaul. Of course, the manufacturing has change over the last 15-20 years. We since dropped dealing Toshiba and are Aspire Dealers.Great product and easier to sell.
However, if you are looking at IP phone system, have you entertained a SHoretel?
