I've been searching unsuccessfully for someplace I can get installation/user's manuals for an NEC DX2NA-32. I have run across several references to a 124i. Is this the same system? The phones all say 124i/384i on them.

I'm so confused...

I believe you are right on this one. Try this link https://www.wedophones.com/NecManualsLead.htm

The 124i telephone switch is in the NEC i-Series, also known as the Nitsuko. This is not the same switch as the NEC DX2NA-32, but it is possible that both switches can use the same phones.
