Has anyone come across these older NEC 280's that like to drop calls in this way... 1. Incoming call on any CO taken by any station. 2. call is put on hold. 3. An instore Page is made, hang up from Page & the CO line put on hold drops. This does not happen all the time or at any specific station or user...totally random & I saw it happen, but can not re-create. 4. Line 5 has dtmf at the system, yet has no dialtone on pickup for use/ the relay clicks & the line light lites. If you CALL the # for Line 5 it rings twice & then dead air to the caller, & nothing when picked up at the system phone.
Thanks for any ideas! This is a real head scratcher for me. We have changed the trunk card..not it. The backplane...solved it for a few hours. Processor had a OBF.
