if we have an electra elite 192 with v5.52 software whats the easiest way to upgrade to version 7.00 to take advantage of caller id with the least amount of reprogramming?

then upgrade system.
convert the database then re-upload it to the system.
hope it doesn't corrupt!

you shouldnt have to download, upgrade, then upload. the software upgrade SHOULDN'T default the system. but it can. it also SHOULDN'T corrupt the data but it can do that too.

when you download database with sat, download it as e192 v7.0, and then do your upgrade.
just in case the phone system defaults

if we get the sat software version 7.1 (part number 750456) will it include the necessary software to upgrade/convert the version 5.52 software. Is a flash file included to flash the cpu from 5.52 to v7.00 or greater?
