I have a NEC Pro 2 and want to change when the calls start ringing into the office. Currently the schedule is set for the calls to ring into the office and not directly to the greeting at 8:00 and stop at 17:00, I want to change this to 7:30 and stop at 17:30. I also want to add some hours for Saturday too.

1. Can I do this through the phone not a computer terminal
2. How can I do this?

Thank you!

David

depends if the vm does the answering or if the phone system does the answering.

if the vm does the answering you'd go to the schedule & change it there.

if the system does the answering then program 1-1-27 will adjust the time & program 1-1-32 will adjust the days. NOTE IF A HOLIDAY FALLS ON A WEEKDAY THE SYSTEM WILL STILL GO INTO DAY MODE! you would have to go to the office & manually set the mode to night.

and you may have to adjust both in order to get it to work right

The vm answers at night and then the phones ring for a live answer during the day.

David,

It sound like "Automatic Day/Nite" is programmed on your system. You should have a manual Day/Nite key on your receptionists phone. If not Day/Nite can be set from this phone by pressing Feature or FNC 80 Feature or FNC.

Follow Chris LeBeck's advice if you want to change the automatic part. Just remember that program 1-1-27 is in military time.

Good Luck
