which system is right for me? we dont have remote offices (yet) but we philly, hershey and hartford and we will and have 3 bldgs total. which of these will allow me the most long term growth, features and expanability and support IP phones, bla, bla, bla.

As of now,DSX doen't support IP. However, these systems are configured for and are VoIP capable, but the software that will "unlock" this feature will not be available until possibly 2008.

so does that also mean that the DSX will hae a longer life span than the IPK? since they are still adding features?

IPK 11 came out less than a year ago. The software comes from the Aspire system. Because of the the size this switch can grow and the continuous software upgrades I would say the IPK 11 will have a longer life span.

But both of these switches will be around for some time.
