I have an NEC Aspire with both users with voice mail and external users. I have notice some differences in the external user voice mails. When I dial them i either get a busy, fast busy or there message. Can some one explain why i get 3 different responses? Thanks.

Could very well be not programmed for the virtual numbers. Are you dialing internally or dialing from outside and theie extensions? The fix is simple from outside...simplr turn on Auto Attendant DND on that mailbox and it wont try to xfer.

I am dialing from inside. I don't know how it SHOULD be setup. I would like users to be able to call these mailboxes and leave a message and also beable to transfer a call to them.

You will need virtual numbers setup in the system that are fixed forwarded to the voicemail forthis to work.

Is there a way to turn auto attendent DND on for multiple extensions?

You have to go into each mailbox and flag it on.
