I have a neax 2400 sim with 7 PIMs, when you pick up any phone (ETJ-16DD, Singleline phone)you get bad static, it happens as soon as you lift the receiver and you hit any RSTB card and the LED on the card flashes erratically and you get the static noise, I am getting Digital line failure messeges and I noticed the 2 of 3 DTRG T1 cards are showing amber bier alarms at the NIU at the carrier T1 card then clears after some time then does it again, Im getting a minor and spe alarm when it happens, Im not sure if the two problems are related, when you initialize online, sometimes it goes away for awhile sometimes it does't, I have replaced the DTRG T1 cards, replaced all the RSTB cards, some P00, SW21, and PC59 cards but to no avail, the static comes back, Has anyone ever seen this before? what could be causing it?, Frustrated  , Please help. frown

Sounds like your clock card may be flaky, if it set as a master clock.

If set to slave then one of the T-1's could be flaky and the TDSW synchs the whole switch from the clock card.

Thanks,
I'll check my clock card and go from there,
I'll let you know what I find.

Much Gratitude

Tip&Ring, Sorry I havn't replied back about my progress on the static problem of the NEAX 2400 SIM, I replaced the CK00 Card (clocking card), problem went away then came back within a day, I made some dip switch changes on the CK00, it was set to system 1 and I set it for system 0 because of the position of the card slot, and I set it for Sync., The Static went away and so far I have had only one complaint of static, so I've been watching it carefully, I have had it go away for a couple of months before, then it comes back real bad, Until a significant amount of time goes by without it coming back will I be convinced it is fixed.
Thanks for your support.
