Customer has PRI with CallerID/ANI displaying on "the maximum" 15 phones, but is asking if SMDR will output the CallerID on ALL extensions; not just the 15 that can display it?

The 15 phone limit was only on Caller ID from analog trunks, after version 3000. You should be able to get caller ID on all phones if your system has 3000 or higher software. One way to get around the caller id maximum for lower than 3000 was to have voicemail answer as an auto attendant and make the vocemail ports the 15 supported. Once a call is answered with caller id it will transfer to other phones.

Ok, I'll look into that but does callerID info for ALL extensions save in SMDR on software verson 8000?

In series 8000 caller ID should appear on all phones. 1-1-78 was no longer used at 8000. To answer your other question yes caller ID should appear in the SMDR record for each valid call.

The Elite 192 will only output CID number, not name...
