Is it possible to change/add system speed dial numbers from a terminal? According to the manual, the data in in memory blocks 9-1-03 and 9-1-04, but I don't believe those can be accessed from a terminal. If I need software, please tell me what I may need. Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure you have to use SAT software to do system speed dail.

Version 4.7 was just released. You will have to purchase it from a dealer or get from a technician that has access to the NECNTAC website.

Thanks for the reply, doghart. I guess now I ask if anyone would be kind enough to send me a copy of SAT. I'm sure we owned it at some point. I just recently found our CoSessions software, but no luck on finding SAT. If someone could PM me about SAT, it would be greatly appreciated.

To change system-wide speedd ials on Elite:

Go to the phone that is connected to one of the first two ports. Usually ext. 100 or the receptionist phone.

Press Feature + Redial

Enter code of current speed dial. (Example 12)

Enter all digits needed to dial phone number. Example I need to dial a 9 before I dial the area code. So in this example I would dial 9 + (area code) + number (use “1” if toll or long distance).

After you enter the number, press HOLD to enter the name.

Use the dial pad to enter each letter. (Example, if I want an S, I would press the 7 key four times.)

Hint: # is the next character key and CONF is the backspace key

Press Feature to save.

Worked like a charm! (Except I have old firmware, and it takes the 3-digit code to pull up a character) Thanks so much, bbox!!
