Hello Form,

I just have a few quick questions on changing the Encoding of IAD & a PVA card.

We are currently using G.729 for the Encoding and would like to bump up to the higher bandwidth of G.711. So here are my questions:

1. What does the Packet Size (MS) & the Jitter Depth (MS) do?

2. How do you change the same setting on the PVA card? Or is this done automatically when the two card connect to each other, or is this done in the IPK II?

In memory block 84-21-19 you set your audio capability 1st priority to G.711 if that is what you want. You do this on both sites. Then go to 84-21-4,5, and 6 and set all those to 40. After doing this you will need to reset the PVA Card.
