I have an NEC aspire S that we moved from an old office to the new one. I have it all installed, and now when I power up the system, it goes through the self test, and after it's done, none of the extensions light up. I do get a dial tone one the analog ports, but nothing on the regular handsets. The handsets are: IP1NA-12txh. I've very familiar with phone systems, but not this particular one. I've checked the wiring, and thats all correct. The green light (ld2) on the main board flashes slowly.
Any suggestions? Is there an initialization process to init the handsets.
Thanks Dirk

Those are IP phones. How are connecting them to the Aspire?

On the 66 block are the extensions, so I take the first pair, and run that to the red/black pair of the wall jack. The phone it self only has 2 pins in the RJ-11 jack. Thats the way it was setup in the old office.

First try plugging a phone directly into the KSU into connector CN20. If it works there it is your wiring. If if doesn't it is your KSU ![[Linked Image from i2.photobucket.com]](https://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/donbaker/tech%20talk/AspireSPic.jpg) IP1NA-12txh is NOT an ip phone it is a 22 button display phone that works off of a digital port

I tried to plug the set into the CN20 jack, and still did not work. I did plug an analog set into the analog port and received a dial tone, and was able to make outgoing calls. So everything works, except the digital ports. Any other suggestions?

Thanks all for the help so. I just checked the backup battery on the system, and it was dead, so I think when I unhooked it to move the system, it lost the programming, thats probably why the digital sets are not comming up. I have the serial cable for programming, but was wandering if anyone had the pcpro software for programming, or can I do it through a terminal in windows. I would like to check the programming to verify whats in there.
Thanks Dirk

When I plug the phone into CN20, nothing comes up on the screen. It did function a week ago when I removed it from the old office, but now nothing. The analog ports work fine, but not the digital. Dirk
