I would appreciate some help on installing a SPE(M)-U10 ETU in an IPK. I just need to connect to the SPE via the Ethernet connection using SAT and Co-Sessions. The voice mail card is a VMS4. I have the SPE installed and configured. I can connect with SAT but not Co-Sessions. Frankly, I am confused regarding the use of the virtual serial ports and the SPE software. Which COM port do I need to use on the SPE to the VMS. The SPE ports are labeled A through D but the software refers to COM 4 and COM 53. I set the serial port to 19,200,8,n,1 for the VMS connection.
Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

You will need a null modem cable to connect the SPE to the VMS.

I currently have the serial cable that came with the SPE card plugged into COM D on the SPE and the VMS.

I worked it out on my own. Its a rather convoluted setup and the NEC manual isn't that helpful. Apparently there is not a lot of experience with the SPE ETU on the forum.
